Order, restored.

We hold companies that take what’s been written off and build alongside God as he restores it. We’re servants, not the author. The work was already underway when we got here.

Ezekiel 37:3–4 · KJV
“Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.”

Holdings

02 — What we hold
02

Space held for what comes next.

Held loosely. Every venture gets its own name, its own house, and the freedom to outgrow us.

03 — Where restoration shows up

Eternal good

Faith tech, church technology, and tools that serve the kingdom directly.

Social good

Software for nonprofits, community platforms, and tools for people in crisis or need. Their budget is sacred to us.

Human good

Startups and small businesses that treat people well and solve real problems. It proves the renewal of all things isn’t limited to the places we’d expect to find it.

04 — From the founder

In 2013 I co-founded a startup. We raised a million dollars and landed partnerships with major U.S. retailers. Then it all failed. In 2025 I lost a senior engineering leadership role I’d worked years to earn. Some of that was on me. I was the breadwinner for my family, and I had no plan. Just urgency.

Something grew out of the ashes of my ego. My friend Tyler lost his job, and I pulled a seat up to a table that barely existed. Then Brenden. Then two Camerons. Each time it felt tenuous, sharing the little I had. Each time, something carried me forward.

That’s the story this company is named for. Dry bones don’t raise themselves, and we don’t do the breathing. We show up, set what’s broken in order, and build alongside the One who does. Whatever this is becoming, I’m more witness than architect. The longer version is in my letter on why Heartwood exists.
